Yes, the 2 day program is now fully integrated to include ALS content across both days.

Our 2 day Basic and Advanced Life Support course and our 1 day Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course have been approved for grants with the RACGP and ACRRM

It is recommended that participants have read the pre-program course manual and have watched the demonstration BLS and ALS videos to enhance their learning.

All participants will undertake practical and theoretical assessments for basic life support and advanced life support throughout the face to face program.

Yes, You are more than welcome to attend most courses/webinars but note some courses have face-to-face components.

Yes, the assessments are no longer optional.

In the event that you need to cancel one of our paid courses, a cancellation request must be received a minimum of 7 days prior to the event. Cancellations will not be accepted within 7 days of the event. Cancellation fees do apply.

Our ALS course covers the same material as an ALS2 course.

Assessment consists of theory exam requiring an 80% pass mark plus typically a practical assessment

We offer an optional competency based assessment which is valid for 12 months. BLS and ALS certificates of attendance are in accordance with the RACGP and are valid for 3 years.

Yes, our ALS & PALS courses have accreditation with various medical colleges

Both the blended and full face-to-face ALS course covers the ARC and international guidelines.

The ALS2 courses, for example, are conducted by ARC Course centres and will typically be more expensive in part because they pay royalties back to the ARC.

No, Medcast provides a free CPD tracker and only accredited courses with RACGP or ACRRM are automatically uploaded.

Completion reports are loaded to the ACRRM monthly however please ensure you have provided your ACRRM number to Medcast.

You can download certificate by logging in and ensuring you have you met the completion criteria

Generally speaking you must complete the pre and post surveys as well as any quizzes, videos or activities.

RACGP and ACRRM require fellows to complete a multiple choice exam and evaluation as a reinforcing activity.

We currently don't offer Master or Diploma training however all our courses are perfect for continuous professional development (CPD) and most are accredited for points with medical colleges. Check the course profile page for more information.
